Synopsis
The father of the family is searching for the perfect partner for his "royal". None of the boys he brings her is, in his eyes, a suitable candidate for her hand, and so each, sooner or later, becomes the "next-ex" of the title. This gives her daughter an idea.... The mystification she carries out reveals how disastrous excessive ambition can be. The deciding factor must be love, not the opinion of others.
