Synopsis
“Art as Freedom” is the belief of Hong Kong artist Wilson Shieh. He combines traditional Chinese gong-bi (fine-line) techniques and Western painting styles. Growing up in Hong Kong, an ever-changing city, Shieh explores the Hong Kong identities in his works. He has made his name in the international contemporary art market and is now at his career peak.
