Each of whom are experiencing their unique, yet fundamentally similar, respective lives. The stories are tied together with the underlying message that we are all connected. The film uses several languages, yet we don't need to understand the conversations or stories in order to comprehend the film itself, beautifully illustrating this theme of connectedness.
