The day after their 15th anniversary, a couple, Michael and Janet are preparing for a meal with guests: long time friends, Muriel and Brian. For years the 4 have come together weekly for a quiet, Sunday afternoon meal. The dynamics of the meal change when the 2 couples are joined by an unexpected guest, Brian's young female employee, Erin. Over the course of the afternoon, the 5 diners delve into the conversationally taboo subjects of: religion, politics, and sex. As the meal progresses, long hidden secrets are revealed that result in hard truths that must be faced in what will be the group's final gathering.
