Synopsis
New viruses are spreading in Europe and bringing with them diseases that previously only occurred in tropical countries. Jacob Kneser's documentary tells how researchers from the Friedrich Loeffler Institute on the Baltic Sea island of Riems are joining forces to try to stop the viruses.
