Synopsis
The movie tells the story of the silent war between upstanding, honest official Sau Dai and the corrupted merchants led by Tam Lut. During the time that the Government was purchasing rice from the farmers, the corrupted merchants cooperated with some high-ranked officials to storing the rice for greater benefits. After a tireless fight against them ,with the support from senior Communist like Mr. Bay, Sau Dai succeeded in purchasing the rice for the government.
