Synopsis
Taro and Chie Yoshida live on the fifth floor of an apartment complex with no elevator. 76-year-old Taro, confined to a wheelchair, has a walking disability. 72-year-old Chie suffers from dementia. They struggle with the challenges of elderly caregiving in a harsh world that is falling apart. With no means of escape and no one to help them, they are left to fend for themselves. Can Taro and Chie survive on their own?
