Lovers' repentance

The film tells the story of Hammad, a talented young craftsman, enjoying a peaceful idleness and dreaming of love and music, who is suddenly confronted with a challenge. The creation of a nautical astrolabe for a Portuguese adventurer forces him to resume his studies and seek refuge with his close friend. Because of the stolen astrolabe and the death of his friend, Hammad temporarily loses his mind. In the maristan where he is confined, he regains his senses through music and manages to reveal the truth during a solemn session at the University of Quaraouiyine.
