China's first film was made in 1905 when great changes were taking place in Chinese society. Films, as vivid records of the times, have, since then, recorded all the happenings of China in the century: From national liberation movements and social changes to the fate and daily life of ordinary people. Films enrich people's lives and inspire their spirit.
