Synopsis
Baltasar Espinosa, a medical student, accepts an invitation from his cousin to spend the summer at his estate. However, a torrential downpour floods the fields, leaving him stranded with the Gutre family, a group of laborers. During their isolation, Baltasar reads "The Gospel According to Mark" to them, leading to unexpected and profound consequences.
