Backcountry

After the shocking death of a young man, his best friend and his girlfriend set out on a week-long backpacking trip attempting to find closure in very different ways. As they hike deeper into the forest, they find themselves entrenched in one another’s grief as they come to terms with a new relationship to mortality.
