Synopsis
Based on a series of intimate interviews with former Workers’ Party president and Official IRA Chief of Staff Seán Garland, The Man with the Hat delves into the heart of political upheaval in Ireland and beyond. Taking the viewer from the tenements of early 20th century Dublin, through the Soviet Bloc, North Korea and from the Border Campaign of the 1950s to the Peace Process.
